Rejuvenation Vacations: REJUVACATIONS
Rejuvacations are essentially adult field trips to sites around the world regarded as highly healthful, including comprehensive planning for diets or nutritious eating, activities site seeing and more throughout the vacation.
Through the years, I have prescribed mini vacations for my patients that are essential to balance hectic and stressful lifestyles and rejuvenate both the physical body, mind and soul so one can continue to be productive. Finally, I have decided to organize a five four day rejuvacation options that can be taken throughout the year in 2012. Please visit all the pages to see the unique healing feature and qualities for improving your health and lifestyle.
Please e-mail me at petrusia@thehealthyhive.com to reserve a spot as soon as possible. Thank you!
REYKJAVIK, ICELAND – Feb/Mar . This would include a visit to the Blue Lagoon which is a Geothermal Spa where you bathe in the mineral rich steamy glacial waters surrounded by black lava rocks.
SEDONA, ARIZONA – Mar or Nov. . Sedona is a new-agey town and a vortex site. In Sedona vortexes are created, not by wind or water, but from spiraling spiritual energy. The vortex es of Sedona are named because they are believed to be spiritual locations where the energy is right to facilitate prayer, mediation and healing. Vortex sites are believed to be locations having energy flow that exists on multiple dimensions. The energy of the vortexes interacts with a person’s inner self. It is not easily explained. Obviously it must be experienced.
BLOCK ISLAND, RHODE ISLAND – May/June . A ferry ride takes you to this amazing little island as far away as the Jersey shore yet the waters are navy blue and crystal clear. 40% of the island is protected by the Nature Conservancy and springtime is a part of the migration route for many unusual birds. Biking is a common way of getting around the island as is walking to the local gathering areas. There are plenty of Bed and Breakfast Houses that can be rented by a group of 8 or more that are walking distance to the beaches.
MONTAUK, LONG ISLAND NY – April 13-15. I really liked Gurneys which has a wonderful salt water indoor pool and a Roman bath as part of its health spa facilities. Its right on the beach and this is considered the off peak season. Close enough yet far enough to take a breath of fresh sea air and possibly eat delicious vegetarian menus and perhaps lose a few pounds in a weekend.
NARROWSBURG, PA – June-Sept . A turn of the century retreat farm house situated on a 5 acre property with fields and wooded areas with running stream and lots of fruit trees. It is tucked away in the Delaware River Valley area and offers peace and tranquility and a place to experiment with cooking up a storm using locally grown produce. I grew up Horseback riding in this area but rafting on the lazy parts of the Delaware is relaxing and fun as well. Yoga would be a perfect daily practice and an instructor would be provided to inspire and guide the group.
